Reflex Control Module

Gemini's Control Modules consist of a number of basic or complex control functions contained on circuit boards that mount to brackets that are designed for ease in wiring and maintenance. Each board has on its front edge a number of terminals containing captive screws that mate with the top row of a conventional barrier terminal block on the bracket. The lower row of connections on the terminal block are used for the external wiring to the board. In this way, if a board is removed or replaced, the external wiring is not disturbed, and there is no need to worry about replacing the individual wires. All connections are made at the front of the assembly, eliminating any need for reverse or side access.

Figure 1 shows a circuit board mounted in a bracket. Figure 2 shows the board halfway inserted into a bracket, and figure 3 shows a close-up view of the terminals on the circuit board.

Applications include AC motor soft starters, winders, printing presses, cranes and hoists, elevators, ac and dc power supplies, motor controls for ac, dc, and wound rotor motors, and much more. These modular elements can be used alone or in combination to provide complete control solutions for system integrators, plant engineers, or OEM's.
